Simpler Support with StartCARE
The StartCARE app can help you find and fix many common home network issues. The app scans your network for problems, then provides you with easy step-by-step instructions for suggested fixes. The app also generates a unique session key code, which you can provide to a Start.ca Rep if need to call in for more help.

How it works
Step 1
Download the free StartCARE app on your device from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Once installed, open the app and select Begin.
Step 2
To perform a Network Scan, from the main menu, click on Advanced Tools.
Step 3
This will bring you to the Agent tools page.
From there, select Run a network scan.
Step 4
Place your device next to your router and press I'm next to the router.
Step 5
You will be asked to confirm if you're ready. To proceed click I'm there.
Step 6
The StartCARE app will perform some tests and collect some diagnostics about your connection.
This will take a few minutes to complete, please keep the app open while this test runs.
Step 7
The StartCARE app will use the diagnostics collected to make some suggestions to improve your connectivity and provide some helpful info.
