Start.ca Presents London Comic Con 2019

London Comic Con 2019 started with a BANG, we literally mean a bang. Our carnival game turned out to be a bit on the… loud side? We didn’t mind shutting it down though, because we had something scary up our sleeves.

In honour of special guest Tim Curry, we built an “IT” theme haunted house. Those who made it through to find our ballot box were entered to win a meet and greet with Mr. Curry himself!

London Comic Con was double the size of the previous years and featured two floors of things to do, vendors and more! With all that in tow, it was easy to get distracted and find the day over before you knew it.

If you weren’t singing and dancing to the Rocky Horror Picture Show on the main stage, you were being entertained by the lip sync battle. If that wasn’t your thing, you probably found yourself forking over all your money in Artist Alley!

We loved what the Children’s Health Foundation did. To help raise money, you had the chance to try and shoot a storm trooper. It was a huge hit with kids, and the storm troopers really knew how to ham it up.
