The customer may also either (a) utilize their own modem, which must adhere to Start.ca standards, currently available at [https://www.start.ca/services/modems]; or (b) purchase a modem from Start.ca.

Start.ca Internet has a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your service, you may cancel for a refund of service cost to date within 30 days of signing up for the service.
Upon cancellation, deactivation, or suspension of service, all rental equipment must be returned to Start.ca, 1-700 York Street, London, ON N5W 2S8, Canada, 1-866-434-5888, immediately and in good working condition with complete parts and accessories. Failure to do so within 14 business days of service cancellation will result in a charge for the full replacement cost to the account. A return label will be provided by Start.ca to return the equipment. Minimum system and infrastructure requirements apply. Final eligibility for the services will be determined by the Start.ca representative. Maximum speeds require optimal network conditions on a wired connection. Internet access speeds may vary depending on location, usage within the home network, Internet traffic, applicable network management, or server configurations. Concurrent data streams, including combinations of upload and downloads, may be required to access maximum speeds. Maximum speeds may not be achievable using a single device.
