All information collected for the referral program will be used for the purposes of the referral program only. Your privacy is important to Start.ca. We have a long-standing policy of protecting the privacy of our customers in all of our business operations. Terms and Conditions

The Referrer and Referee must accept the terms and conditions herein to participate in the Start.ca referral program (the “Program”). In order to be eligible to participate in the Program as a referrer (“Referrer”), you must be a Start.ca Internet customer and your account must be in good standing. “Referee” means the person who receives a referral offer by an existing Start.ca customer in the context of the Program.
Start.ca may end the Program or change any of the terms at any time, without notice and without obligation to award any referral credits.
Start.ca and TELUS affiliate team members, contractors, sales representatives acting on Start.ca’s behalf who receive special pricing are excluded from this Program.

All referrals must be made over the phone at 1-866-434-5888, via email at [email protected], or via checkout on the Start.ca website.
Referrer can only refer his/her family members or close friends. Referrers cannot refer themselves.
The final decision pertaining to the eligibility of the Referrer and Referee is at Start.ca’s sole discretion. Start.ca has no obligation to contact the Referrer nor the Referee if Start.ca concludes to the non-eligibility of one and/or the other.
Referral codes can be used to purchase/subscribe to Start.ca Home Cable Internet and Home Fibre Internet products (hereinafter referred to as the “Eligible Products”). The selection of Eligible Products may change from time to time, without prior notice. Only Eligible Products are included in the Program.
After your family member/friend activates and installs the Eligible Products, and the referral has been successfully verified, each of the Referrer and Referee will receive a $50 credit on the monthly statement within the following 2 (two) bill cycles. Referral rewards are unlimited per calendar year. Start.ca reserves sole direction to enforce limits if the process is abused by the Referrer or Referee.
In order to be eligible for these specific program rewards, the Referee must call in or email and directly reference Referer name and phone number or account number.
The referral credit is not available for referring existing customers who are renewing their service agreement with Start.ca.
Referral credits will not be awarded for past activations where the new eligible product was not referred to as per these Referral Program Terms and Conditions.
Referees of the Program cannot accept more than one referral offer at a time as part of this Program. If a Referee receives multiple referral offers, a credit will be applied only once to the account of the Referrer whose referral the Referee accepted through the Program.
You must be an active Start.ca customer to receive and use your referral reward.
Referral credits are to be accepted as rewarded. They are not redeemable for cash, non-refundable, and will not be paid out upon the termination or cancellation closure of a Start.ca account.
Start.ca assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, damaged, or misdirected referrals or communications or for any failure of the website, for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or referral to be received by Start.ca on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to your (or any other person’s) computer related to or resulting from this program. Start.ca reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, cancel, or suspend this program should a virus, bug, or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Start.ca, corrupt the security or proper administration of the program or for any other reason. Referrals are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are non-eligible, illegible, unintelligible, falsified, altered or tampered with, or unlawful in any way. Referrals submitted by unauthorized means or by or to non-eligible individuals will be disqualified. In the event that Start.ca is of the opinion that a referral has been made in a manner that contravenes the terms herein, you and all of your referrals will be disqualified from this program, and any referral credits will be canceled, or if already awarded, they will be deducted. You agree to abide by the terms of this Program and the decisions of the Start.ca team, which are final. This program is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
Credit provided is discretionary and includes applicable taxes (based on the taxes levied in the province of supply). Therefore, the value displayed on your bill is the value before tax.
